Siamo tornate cari followers … eccoci nuovamente qui, felici e riposate dopo le ferie, ma soprattutto pronte per raccontare ancora tanto sull’affascinante mondo delle Ville Venete.
Come ogni mese, apriamo in bellezza con gli impedibili appuntamenti di settembre!
We’re back dear followers … we are again here, happy and rested after holidays, but especially to tell you a lot of things about the fascinating world of Venetian Villas. As every month, we start speaking about the events of September!
1) VIRIDALIA – 13 e 14 Settembre 2014
Due giorni speciali dedicati al verde, alle piante (soprattutto rare!), alla botanica e all’ecologia del giardinaggio, in una location davvero suggestiva: il parco storico e le sale del Castello Porto Colleoni, situato nel cuore storico della città di Thiene. Il tema principale della mostra di quest’anno, giunta ormai alla sesta edizione, sono le erbe officinali, alimurgiche e aromatiche, un prezioso patrimonio del passato che sta però recentemente tornando alla ribalta grazie al boom del giardinaggio da terrazzo e dell’urban gardening!
Questa idea si presenta fin dal simbolo scelto per la locandina, che rappresenta una pianta di aglio ursino: aromatica e officinale, ancora reperibile in natura nel nostro territorio, usata in cucina e per migliorare la coltivazione nei giardini e negli orti. Anche in questa edizione, torna inoltre, l’imperdibile “Mostra internazionale di orchidee”, a cura di ATAO associazione triveneta amatori orchidee con le collezioni botaniche.
Two special days dedicated to plants (especially rare!), gardens, botany and ecology, in a very suggestive location: the historical park and the rooms of the Porto Colleoni Castle, in the center of the Thiene.
The main theme of this year is the medicinal and aromatic herbs, a precious heritage from the past that is now returning on top thanks to the urban gardening!
This idea is introduced from the symbol drawn in the poster, which is the ursino garlic: an aromatic and medicinal plant, that still grows in our area, and it is used for kitchen works and to improve the cultivation in gardens and orchards.
In this edition returns the unmissable “international exhibition of orchids”, edited by ATAO (Association of orchids’ amateurs of Triveneto area), with a botanical collections.

2) EVENTI IN VILLA DEI VESCOVI 14 e 21 Settembre 2014
A villa dei Vescovi (Luvigliano di Torreglia – PD) gli eventi non finiscono mai! Il mese di settembre, in particolare, è davvero ricco di iniziative; ma sono due le manifestazioni che vi vogliamo consigliare: la “Vendemmia in Villa”, il 14 Settembre, e “Amano” la domenica successiva.
In Villa dei Vescovi (Luvigliano di Torreglia – PD) events never end! The month of September, in particular, is really full of initiatives; but there are two events that we want to recommend you: the “Grape harvest“, on 14th September 2014, and “Amano” the next Sunday.
La raccolta dell’uva a fine estate è ormai un must in questa Villa: ogni anno volontari del FAI, bambini, ragazzi e adulti si danno un gran da fare nelle vigne che circondano la dimora, a tagliare grappoli, nel pigiare i chicchi in grandi tinozze, e ad imbottigliare il vino. Anche quest’anno l’appuntamento si ripete, con tanto di laboratori creativi a tema, giochi campesti, pic nic in villa e musica tradizionale.
The grape harvest is a tradition in this Villa: each year, FAI’s volunteers, children, teens and adults, work to cut bunches, to press the beans in large tubs and to bottle the wine, in the vineyards that surround the house. During the appointment there will be a lots of creative workshops, games, picnics and traditional music.
“Amano” invece, è una manifestazione che vuole esaltare la creatività e l’abilità manuale tutta italiana. Creativi provenienti da varie zone d’Italia, saranno presenti in Villa Dei Vescovi dove esporranno i propri prodotti e ne illustreranno i procedimenti di realizzazione. I laboratori creativi, saranno alternati nel pomeriggio, con un “Laboratorio del Gusto: come si beve il tè nel mondo” a cura di Nicoletta Tul, maestra del tè.
“Amano” however, is a manifestation which wants to exalt the Italian creativity and manual skill. Creatives from different areas of Italy, will be in Villa Dei Vescovi where they will exhibit their products and will explain the process of realization. In the afternoon, there will be a “Taste Workshop: how the tea is drinking in the world” by Nicoletta Tul, teacher of tea.

3) CASTELLO DI SAN PELAGIO – 7, 14, 21, 28 Settembre 2014
Anche a Villa Zaborra, meglio nota come Castello di San Pelagio o Museo dell’Aria (poiché nelle sale della dimora viene ripercorsa l’intera storia del volo umano) gli eventi di settembre per grandi e piccini sono davvero tantissimi: dalla caccia al tesoro nei labirinti, e nel parco della villa, del 7 Settembre, si passa al raduno A.N.R. (Aeronautica Nazionale Repubblicana) con visita guidata al museo (14 Settembre 2014), fino alle celebrazioni del compleanno del museo del volo la domenica 21… storia, creatività e aeronautica si intrecciano in questo luogo unico in tutto il Veneto.
In Villa Zaborra, better known as the Castle of St. Pelagius or Air Museum (because in the rooms is told retraced the entire history of human flight)there will be a lot of events for adults and children: the treasure hunt in the park of the villa on 7th of September, the meeting of ANR (Republican National Aeronautics) with guided tour in the museum (14 September 2014), the birthday’s celebration of the Museum on Sunday 21… in this unique place in the Veneto.

Ma la manifestazione in assoluto più importante per le Ville e dimore storiche nel Veneto di settembre è FESTIVAL DELLE VILLE VENETE, che si svolgerà dall’11 al 21 settembre 2014, ma di cui vi parleremo nella prossima puntata …
